As of March 2026, the leadership of the Trace4EO consortium has been transferred to Protexius, an Estonian company specialising in data integrity and provenance technologies. Protexius has taken over the coordinator role previously held by Guardtime.
The Trace4EO project runs from 16 June 2025 to 16 June 2026 and is delivered by Protexius, CloudFerro, and Alt239. The change in leadership ensures continuity of expertise within the consortium and does not affect the project’s objectives or planned activities.
The project remains focused on strengthening provenance, traceability, and trust in Earth Observation data.
